Wolfram Liebermeister is a theoretical systems biology researcher at INRA Jouy-en-Josas. He studied physics, holds a PhD of theoretical biophysics, and co-authored a popular textbook on Systems Biology. In his work on cell metabolism, he underlines functional aspects such as control, variability, and optimality. Recent projects concern the prediction of protein investments in cells, based on computational models of metabolism and the theory of Metabolic Economics.
